In a world where women struggle to love and appreciate themselves, self-love often takes a backseat. I’ve made it my mission to challenge the lack of self-love that plagues so many women and encourage them to envision a world where the mirror no longer casts a critical gaze but instead reflects a celebration of their unique life experiences.

My purpose is to ignite a revolution of self-appreciation. For women to look within and appreciate their true beauty, the beauty that emanates from within. It’s about recognizing that there’s more to them than what meets the eye in the mirror. It’s about fostering love and celebration for themselves as survivors, acknowledging their accomplishments, resilience, and triumphs.

I chose to celebrate them by painting unique portraits that express their inner essence and can be a voice of self-expression, where stories or words of encouragement are woven into their hair to remind them and the world that they are worthy of celebration. Also to inspire their children, families, and generations to come.

Each portrait is distinct, not meant to be traditional.

You can choose from any of my three artistic styles. The ultimate aim of these portraits is to serve as gateways to self-love, nurturing, and celebration.

Once you decide you are ready email Claudia at Claudia@marulandaart.com to receive a process and pricings sheet where you can:

Select your preferred canvas size, medium and art style. Prices vary based on your selection.Medium options include: mixed media, oil paints, and acrylic paints
Custom size and framing requests are always welcome.
Provide Claudia with an aesthetic reference, such as a photograph of yourself, your spouse, a family member, or friend.
Arrange a live consultation with Claudia via phone, or Zoom, if preferred, to discuss ideas and details of your celebration.
